Should I Avoid Fruit (To Lose Weight)? | JJ Virgin #Shorts | Health, Diet & Weight Loss
Should you avoid fruit if you're trying to lose weight? Well, it depends – number one, you want to avoid fruit juice (basically 'soda'), dried fruit, candy, jams and syrups. But what you don't want to avoid is fresh or frozen *whole fruit* (you just want to limit how much you have) My rule of thumb is 1-2 servings of fruit per day, and preferably some of the higher fiber, lower sugar impact fruits like barely ripe bananas or berries (which are always great). Go ahead and have the fruit, just don't overdo on the fruit and make sure it's whole, or fresh, or frozen form!
