Sometimes weight gain or difficulty losing weight can be caused by a medical condition such as hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, PCOS, or something else. If you think this might be the case for you, it's important to see a doctor to get checked out.
7. You're taking medication
Certain medications can also lead to weight gain. If you've started a new medication and have noticed an increase in weight, it's worth talking to your doctor about alternatives.
8. You have a food sensitivity or allergy
If you find that you're gaining weight even though you're eating healthy and exercising, it could be due to a food sensitivity or allergy. Common allergens include gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, and nuts.
