Yoghurt can be amazing because it's got great pro-biotics but it's not amazing if you're eating dairy yoghurt with that fruit in it that's high sugar impact and high phos. Switch on over to CocoYo or Kite Hill Almond yoghurt and you'll get all of the good and none of the bad.
A great swap for those Slim Jims or beef jerky that you find at the Grab-N-Go convenience stores – that are loaded with MSG and have got glutens sneaking in – so swap them out for one of my faves, paleovalley.
Paleovalley grass fed beef sticks have none of the garbage, they are a great protein hit and are super-satisfying and great for your metabolism.
OK, you know I'm not a fan of bread unless it's this *kind* of bread – that is gluten free and Paleo, like my friends over at Julian Bakery. Swap your gluteny bread for Paleo Thins.
Are you craving a crackery crunch? But you don't want the gluten? Simple Mills almond crackers are your super swap.
Runaway from that trail-mix with the little M&Ms and the peanuts, and move over to the almonds (or walnuts, or pecans) for a way better swap!

Hi I’m JJ, welcome to my channel. If you’re looking to lose weight, boost your energy and look and feel fabulous and fit over 40, you’re in the right place.
Here you’ll find the healthy recipes, fitness routines and the nutrition information you need to achieve healthy weight loss that stays off.
If you're looking to clean up your diet and lose a little weight, you don't have to completely overhaul your current eating habits. Making small changes, like swapping unhealthy foods for healthier ones, can make a big difference in the long run. Here are some healthy food swaps that will help you get on the right track!
1. Swap sugary drinks for water or unsweetened tea
Sugary drinks are one of the worst things you can consume if you're trying to lose weight or eat healthier. Not only do they contain empty calories, but they also promote weight gain and can lead to health problems like type 2 diabetes. Water and unsweetened tea, on the other hand, are calorie-free and will keep you hydrated without sabotaging your diet.
2. Swap processed snacks for fruits and vegetables
Processed snacks are often high in sugar, sodium, and unhealthy fats, which can make them a major diet no-no. Fruits and vegetables, on the other hand, are packed with nutrients and fiber that can help you feel fuller and longer. Plus, they're low in calories, so you can snack on them guilt-free!
3. Swap white bread for whole wheat bread
White bread is made with refined flour, which has been stripped of its nutrients. Whole wheat bread, on the other hand, is made with whole grains that are packed with fiber and other nutrients. Fiber helps fill you up and can even help regulate your blood sugar levels.
4. Swap red meat for lean protein
Red meat is high in saturated fat, which can lead to health problems like heart disease. Lean protein, such as chicken or fish, is a much healthier option and can help you reach your weight loss goals.
5. Swap ice cream for Greek yogurt
Ice cream is high in sugar and calories, which can sabotage your diet. Greek yogurt is a healthier alternative that's low in calories and fat but high in protein. It's a great snack or dessert option that will help keep you on track!
6. Swap potato chips for popcorn
Potato chips are high in fat and calories, making them a diet-buster. Popcorn is a much healthier alternative that's low in calories and fat but high in fiber. It's the perfect snack to help you stay on track!
7. Swap cake for fruit
The cake is high in sugar and calories, which can lead to weight gain. Fruit is a healthier alternative that's low in calories and sugar but high in nutrients. It's the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth without sabotaging your diet!
If you’re searching for a way to clean up your eating habits without giving up all of the foods you love, try implementing some of these healthy food swaps.
