That’s nice you are able to buy all these foods & supplements. But I’m on a budget of $300 of food per month here in Canada. If I live off Beans & frozen mixed Veggies, with Vegan Tablets, I pay only $55 food & $50 per 2 months Vegan Supplements.
What was your problem with greek yogurt?

Oh, thank you so much. JJ! You are the voice of reason. There’s so much craziness in diets now. What you’re describing exactly what I’ve been doing for the last two years. Just focus on whatever food group it is on protein, lean , some saturated fats, healthy fats and low carb. exercise move lift heavy things daily and you will age gracefully.

Good to know your carb range! I’m following a fasting guide where the net carbs during the keto stage goes down to 50 g. This is so so low for someone like me, which works out 1-2 hours a day. I know myself well enough to know that this makes me get to a dangerous hunger stage. 😊
Hi JJ, I have quick question if we are eating in calorie deficit and I’m eating protein higher then it’s recommended but overall calories are still in deficit do you think we will still lose weight/fat? Or it should be between 0.7-1g per target body weight? Thanks!
Hi for the protein powder- and the fruit — when is the optimal time to have this? If we’re not “to snack” wouldn’t this be “a snack” if it is consumed inbetween meals or before bed? Just confused, thanks!

Suggestions for lowering fat percentage. I keep coming up with 30% protein, 20% carb and 50% fat. Ugh. And I don’t feel I’m using a ton of fat but macros don’t lie when I track. Thanks.
Thank you for providing a carbohydrate range (and what is typically better). I’ve found that high carbs and low carbs both wreak havoc on my sleep (likely due to hypothyroidism and being post-menopause). It’s so hard to put the nutrition and exercise pieces together.
