  1. I love early-morning walking mediations – my day just isn’t the same without it. One of your videos inspired me to add HIIT components to my morning walks, but I don’t want to sacrifice the ‘meditation’ aspect, so I’m just doing the fast/normal pace thing, and that’s made a big difference in my muscle tone in just a few days. 😊

  5. May I suggest one minor change to this routine? Do the breathing/meditation after your exercise… it helps body cool down and with a calm mind to begin your day at work. Exercise after meditation sorta diminishes the benefits of meditation

GM… I love your tips.. my routine is to wake up and stretch while lying in the bed..I do hip openers and side to side waist twists and happy baby pose… I will include opening up the windows and looking at the Sun among other tips that you mentioned… I’m about to do my morning Pilates now… enjoy your day…I’m so happy you popped into my feed a week ago and I’ve been binge watching your videos….thank you❤

  8. I use a salt lamp beside the bed after it gets dark, but turn it off when I get in bed. The light-is dimmable too, so you can adjust it.

I heard the Andrew Huberman tip on his postcast a few weeks ago – first thing to do after waking up is expose your eyes to daylight, no glass between your eyes and the daylight (no window, no glasses, no contacts etc.. For only a 5-10 minutes. It is amazing how well this works – it instantly puts your body in “awake mode” “let’s get going”.

  15. It’s still dark when I get up, and the sun doesn’t come up for about an hour and a half later. I do love the sunrise and get out in the sun in the morning.

  20. I awaken when it’s still dark. Sunlight is a couple of hours away. I do like to get outside at dawn for early morning light. Definitely helps with circadian rhythms.

    I drink a large glass of water right away. Then some green tea.

    Bible reading and prayer. (NO Mantras.)
