Before you blame yourself, look at these two things.
1️⃣ Insulin resistance and blood sugar.
If your fasting insulin is elevated, your body is getting the message to store fat, especially around the waist. Even if your glucose looks “normal,” fasting insulin can tell a very different story.
2️⃣ Stress.
High cortisol changes everything. It can drive belly fat storage, disrupt sleep, increase cravings, and make your body feel like it is fighting against you.
If stubborn belly fat is not budging, stop assuming it is about willpower. Start looking at the signals your body is sending.
