Because I know everyone is talking about it right now, but what I keep hearing from women is: “JJ, it makes me feel bloated” or “It wrecked my stomach.”
And listen, if creatine monohydrate has not worked for you, that does not mean creatine is the problem.
I know monohydrate gets all the love because it is the most researched, but we are not still using rotary phones either. Things evolve.
That is why I prefer creatine HCl. It is more soluble, more bioavailable, and I do not get the bloating, GI distress, or water retention that so many women complain about with monohydrate.
Bottom line? If creatine made you quit, you might just need a better form.

Definitely one option. One of the reasons I like creatine HCl is that it dissolves much more easily than monohydrate and doesn’t require the same mixing routine. Have you tried both forms?
