One of the fastest ways to lose muscle is after a surgery or injury.
And if you do not have a plan, recovery can take way longer than it needs to.
👉🏼This is when I double down on muscle support: more essential amino acids, collagen, and the nutrients needed to help trigger muscle protein synthesis.
👉🏼I also love tools like blood flow restriction training or EMS to help maintain muscle when traditional training is limited.
👉🏼And here is the big one most people miss: train what you can.
If your shoulder is injured, train your legs. If one body part is down, keep the rest of your body strong while you heal. Work with a physical therapist, move smart, and remember: recovery is not about stopping. It is about adapting.
