Know work on getting it’s back down now
Quick question about the 2 eggs with 4-6 egg whites, since pasture raised eggs are pricey, do you recommend the 2 eggs (pasture raised) then adding in the 4-5 egg whites either in egg white carton form or cheaper eggs then just tossing out the yokes
ROFL… FCO…just eat the eggs!
@altogetherlovely_design For top quality, choose pasture-raised eggs for the yolks—they’re richer in nutrients, vitamin D, and omega-3s. For extra egg whites, liquid egg whites or cheaper eggs (yolks discarded) work well to save money while keeping protein high. *Team JJ
How does someone know if they have a leaky gut? I eat eggs every day.
You need to have a zonulin level test
@mwebb3014 Leaky gut symptoms—bloating, gas, fatigue, joint pain, skin issues, and brain fog—stem from a weakened intestinal lining, allowing toxins into the bloodstream and triggering inflammation. Since you eat eggs daily, they could be a factor, as they’re a common intolerance. Try eliminating them for three weeks, then reintroduce and observe any symptoms. If they return, eggs may be an issue. For a deeper dive, The Virgin Diet book covers identifying and eliminating food intolerances to heal your gut and reduce inflammation. Hope this helps! *Team JJ

Yeah it’s OK if you can afford it
Well, guess I’m gonna be flabby for the rest of my life…I have a digestive issue that I can’t process meat…any meat. Forcing myself to eat like you recommended will put me in the hospital. What does one do when your diet choices don’t work for them?
Then simply dont.
Eat what works FOR YOU .
Hi @angelaehr4963 If meat is off the table due to digestion issues, focus on high-quality alternatives that work for your body. Your plant-based protein powder is a great start—also consider quinoa, lentils (if tolerated), and essential amino acid supplements to meet your protein needs without discomfort. *team Jj
I love your videos !!!
As a woman in her 50s, i am Greek and our family doctor back in the 70s n 80s would tell us to eat Fage, they didnt have 0% or 2% back then and i swear its the best medicine!😂
And also Kagiana,(the greek word for the dish😊) the eggs ,feta and tomatoes is another staple we eat often as a family too!

Grand vision thanks, in Ireland we can only get grass fed and grass finished beef 😊
PROTEIN: Steak (red meat), salmon (wild caught), Greek yogurt (plain organic), eggs (pasture raised), collagen (bone broth), berries, lentils
Thank you
I’ve heard you mention the food in Europe a few different times and I totally agree 💯.
The difference in the food in the US and Europe is unbelievable unless you have experienced it. My husband and I visited our son twice while he was living in England over a 4 year span. Not counting England, we visited several other countries. I was shocked when I saw his eggs sitting on his kitchen counter and also on the shelf in the local Tesco market. Chicken breast would ruin in the refrigerator if they weren’t cooked within 2 days max. We did not go completely off the rails with unhealthy food choices while we were there, but we definitely enjoyed local dishes, wine and beers. We never felt bloated or stuffed and I actually lost weight! I think another thing that helped was that we were walking almost everywhere. We stayed for 6 weeks total during our two trips and I fell in love with the lifestyle. It was not just because I was on vacation. There is truly something different about the lifestyle of people in other countries. We visited the Netherlands, Scotland, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Croatia and of course England. I felt the best I’ve ever felt in my life being there. I felt at peace, so relaxed and absolutely loved all the walking and the beauty of everywhere we went. I felt safe and everyone was so friendly. My husband who just turned 60, has had both a heart attack(s) and a stroke(s) within the last 6 months and as far as we knew he was very healthy and we have always tried our best to make the healthiest, most nutritious food choices (most of the time) and we are active and have busy, active careers. I would totally sell everything we own and move to a European country today if I could get him on board (I’m working on it)…I know there is more to moving to another country than just deciding you want to, but I’m completely convinced we would be much happier and healthier.
I have about 30 chickens and never put the eggs in the refrigerator after I collect them.. You don’t have to unless you rinse or wipe them off. If you rinse them you remove the protective coating on the egg and bacteria can enter the egg through the shell. Most people I know do not keep their fresh eggs in the refrigerator and know to leave them out where they will last longer. I’ve left them on my counter for sometimes a month before I use them. That is not an exclusively European thing, I’m 60, and people all over the world do this including the US.
@ Hi! Yes, I have learned this. I get fresh eggs from co-workers when they have them available and one of them mentioned they had not been washed. I recently read an article about our “store” eggs being illegal in the UK because they had been washed. It is all very interesting. Thank you for sharing. I am 58 and enjoy learning new things every day.
The collagen brands are controversial. Whats the best brand or type. Liquid. Powder ?? Etc
Powdered collagen is JJ’s best choice—it’s versatile, easy to mix, and more concentrated than liquid forms. Hydrolyzed collagen peptides are ideal since they’re more absorbable. Collagen Peptides Powder delivers 12.5g per serving, featuring clinically backed types like Verisol® and Fortigel® for joint, skin, and gut health. Mix it into coffee, smoothies, or soups with no taste! Here’s the direct link https://reignitewellness.com/collections/all/products/all-systems-glow-collagen *Team JJ
What about chicken ?
Chicken is absolutely a protein source. If you’re choosing between the two, both have their place—red meat offers more iron and B12, while chicken is lighter and easier to digest for some people. *Team JJ
Awesomeness!
I’m the opposite on eggs 😄 In sensitive to whites but I LOVE the yolks (and duck eggs are even better!!!)
