Real Cause of Excess Belly Fat
You’ve probably heard the phrase “healthy at any size,” but here’s the truth: that’s a myth. I’m not saying this to be controversial. I’m saying it because I care about your health.

Being body positive doesn’t mean ignoring the facts. It means loving yourself enough to do what it takes to get as healthy as possible.

If you’re carrying excess body fat, especially visceral fat around the organs, that comes with real risks like chronic inflammation, insulin resistance, and poor metabolic health.

Right now, only 7 percent of the population is considered metabolically healthy. That’s not many. But you know what they’re doing?

They’re lifting weights. They’re eating whole, unprocessed foods. And they’re living in alignment with what a healthy, lean person does, until their body catches up.

You can absolutely be body positive and pursue real health at the same time. In fact, I think that’s what true self-love looks like.

  3. Japanese have some of the best bakeries in the world. They also consume large amounts of rice. White rice is a simple carbohydrate tgat will release a high amount of insulin along with them consuming large amounts of flour for ramen. Yet, they are some of the healthiest people in the world. It’s not so much what they eat but how much they eat. Hara hachi bu is a Japanese phrase that translates to “eight parts full.” It is a traditional Japanese dietary practice that encourages eating only until you are 80% full. Eat until you feel satisfied and then push the plate away.
