Real Cause of Excess Belly Fat
Carbs are not the enemy. In fact, if you want to build muscle, you need them.

I always prioritize carbs after my workout – that’s when your body is primed to absorb them.

Why? Because carbs refill your glycogen stores, which fuels your recovery and gets you ready to crush your next workout.

No glycogen? No gas in the tank.

And this is why I’m not a huge fan of strict keto for muscle building.
Yes, keto helps you burn fat = but ask yourself:
👉 Are you burning dietary fat or stored body fat?
Because if you’re overdoing it on calories (even on keto), you’re not tapping into stored fat.

Bottom line: Carbs help you train harder, recover faster, and build lean muscle when used strategically. Don’t fear them. Fuel with them.

  1. Not buying the carbs from USA. Glysophate factories with seed oils. Not a fan. You can burn fat. Carnivore rocks!! Body fat comes off after dietary fat is burned. Hard to overeat on carnivore. Can be done, but not the norm.

  2. Great information

  3. This was explained very well. Thank you JJ for all the helpful insight
