I get this question a lot about plant-based diets. You can catch the full episode on YouTube, just comment below and I will send you the link!
❌ Here’s my take: I do not believe humans thrive long term at either extreme. The goal is NOT to follow a food religion.
There are times when a plant-based approach can be therapeutic. There are also times when a carnivore-style approach can help support gut healing and inflammation.
But long term? I believe in an omnivore approach built around both plants and quality animal protein.
Because there are key nutrients that become much harder to get in adequate amounts on a strict plant-based diet: B12, omega-3s, creatine, carnitine, taurine, D3, K2, and more.
The goal is to build a body that stays strong, energized, and resilient for life.
