Real Cause of Excess Belly Fat
I used to be totally against counting calories. But I’ve changed my mind.

Here’s why. Most people overestimate how much protein they’re getting and underestimate everything else. That’s a problem when you’re trying to build muscle, support your metabolism, or lose fat.

So here’s what I recommend. Do a macro audit for a couple of weeks.

Week one: Just track. Get curious, not judgmental. Use a food scale. Don’t eyeball it. That’s likely what got you off track in the first place.

Week two: Focus on protein. Make sure you're hitting your optimal amount every day.

Week three: Layer in your non-starchy vegetables. Get them in at every meal.

And just by tracking, most people start to make better choices. That awareness alone can shift behavior.

Calories do count. But where they come from matters more. Use tracking as a tool to help you move toward your goals.
