After menopause, many women find that they are carrying around a few extra pounds. This can be frustrating and embarrassing, especially when you don't know how to lose weight after menopause. But don't worry – there are plenty of ways to shed those unwanted pounds and feel fabulous again. In just 12 weeks, you can transform your body and regain your confidence. Here's how to get started…
1. Eat a healthy diet.
The first step to losing weight after menopause is to eat a healthy diet. This means avoiding processed and sugary foods and instead filling up on whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and healthy fats. Eating healthy will help boost your metabolism and keep your energy levels up, so you can stay active and burn more calories.
2. Exercise regularly.
In order to lose weight and keep it off, you need to exercise regularly. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise most days of the week. Walking, jogging, biking, swimming, and strength training are all great options. Regular exercise will help boost your metabolism and keep your body toned and strong.
3. Get enough sleep.
Getting enough sleep is important for weight loss and overall health. When you don't get enough rest, your body's hormones can become out of balance, which can lead to weight gain. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep every night.
4. Drink plenty of water.
Staying hydrated is essential for weight loss and good health. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day will help boost your metabolism and keep your energy levels up. Try to drink 8 glasses of water each day.
5. Avoid stress.
Too much stress can lead to weight gain, so it's important to find ways to relax and de-stress. Yoga, meditation, and spending time in nature can all help reduce stress levels.
6. Supplement with natural menopause relief
As you enter menopause, your body goes through a lot of changes. These changes can lead to weight gain, mood swings, and other symptoms. To help relieve these symptoms, consider supplementing with natural menopause relief products like black cohosh or red clover. These supplements can help balance your hormones and reduce menopause symptoms.
7. Talk to your doctor.
If you're struggling to lose weight after menopause, talk to your doctor. They can help you create a healthy diet and exercise plan that's right for you. They may also recommend other treatments like hormone therapy or weight loss surgery.
8. Join a support group.
There are many online and in-person support groups for women going through menopause. Joining one of these groups can help you feel less alone and motivated to lose weight.
9. Seek professional help.
If you're struggling to lose weight on your own, consider seeking professional help. A registered dietitian or nutritionist can help you create a healthy eating plan. A personal trainer can help you develop an effective exercise routine. And a therapist can help you manage stress and cope with any emotional challenges you may be facing.
10. Be patient.
Weight loss after menopause takes time, so be patient with yourself. Don't expect to see results overnight – it takes weeks or even months of consistent effort to lose weight and keep it off. But if you stick with it, you will eventually start to see results. And the more weight you lose, the easier it will become. So don't give up – keep working towards your goal, and you will eventually get there.

Congratulations!! 🎊🎈 You inspire me! Thank you!
Thank you! It’s been a long road, but I’m feeling so much better. 🙂
Ready for my bikini?!!! 🤣 Fear not! The audio is suuuuuper lispy. I have no idea why. I was going to correct it and forgot. 🤷🏼♀️ Oh, well. There you go. 😅
Perfect timing. A few years ago, I lost 80 lbs, and now am about 15 lbs up from that weight. I was still in need of losing some when the upward crawl started. Not sure what it’s all about, but your message tells me that it doesn’t so much matter why, but how to get comfortable with a weight loss plan that works for me to get it off. I’m really uncomfortable. You said it, realistically. Thank you. I know what to do.
You’re hot.
How do you plan to maintain your weight loss? Will you increase your caloric intake? I’m interested because I get frustrated with maintenance of weight loss. Thanks for the inspiration!
I love your personality!!! I’m sending your channel to my mom for sure!!!
Thank you. Haha! Send all the ole peeps my way. 👵🏻
I love your yellow chair and your hot pink sweater. Child, we could hang! Now, about this calorie stuff. Lord, have mercy!
No disrespect but in menopause you can t lose weight at all….tried everything….
Its all so confusing- eat more, eat less, eat meat, dont eat meat, starch is good, starch is bad, who knows what to do?? I havae heard that eating too few calories will stall your metabolism, so how does that work?
if you cleanse your liver – you will get rid of the spots on your hands 🙂
